Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) Mentoring Program

The goal of the EYL program is to impact 20,000 middle school girls by offering tools to help develop life-long skills including advocacy, leadership, community service, environmental sustainability, technology, financial literacy, higher education, and non-traditional careers for women.

The objective of the program is to help alleviate problems concerning women and girls as they improve social stature, and help maintain a progressive interest in college life as they prepare to be of “service to all mankind”. Extending on the vision of our sorority by cultivating high scholastic achievement the program encompasses four “AKA”demies which focus on (1) Leadership Development, (2) Civic Engagement; (3) Educational Enrichment and (4) Character Building.

The program will include group sessions from October to June on the 3rd Saturday of the month with community service and cultural activities throughout. We kick off the mentoring program with our kick off signature event, Girl Power, in October.
